Fortlaufender Conga-Unterricht für Mittelstufe bis Fortgeschrittene

Auf drei Congas erkundest Du im Solo, Duo oder Trio die Vielfalt afrobrasilianischer und afrokubanischer Rhythmen. Unterrichtet werden neben afrobrasilianischen Rhythmen wie Cabila, Barravento, Samba, Ijexá und Congo auch afrokubanische Strukturen wie Abakuá, Chachalokafun, Guaguancó und Mozambique, die gemeinsam ein breites Spektrum traditioneller und moderner Formen eröffnen. Dabei stehen neben Klangqualität und Spieltechniken auch Zusammenspiel und musikalischer Ausdruck im Mittelpunkt, die den Charakter jedes Stils lebendig werden lassen.

Neben den Grooves und dem Solospiel werden auch Technik und Klangqualität (Slaps, Open Tones, Muffles, Floatinghand und Unabhängigkeit) behandelt.

Vorkenntnisse im Conga-Spiel (Mittelstufe bis Fortgeschrittene) sind erforderlich.
Für alle Kurse sind Instrumente vorhanden.

Ongoing Conga Lessons for intermediate and advanced players

On three congas, you’ll explore in solo, duo or trio settings the rich diversity of Afro-Brazilian and Afro-Cuban rhythms. The course covers Afro-Brazilian rhythms like Cabila, Barravento, Samba, Ijexá and Congo, as well as Afro-Cuban structures like Abakuá, Chachalokafun, Guaguancó and Mozambique, offering a broad spectrum of traditional and modern forms. Alongside sound quality and playing techniques, the focus is also on playing together and musical expression, bringing the character of each style vividly to life.

In addition to grooves and solo playing, the workshop will cover technique and sound quality, including slaps, open tones, muffled tones, floating hand technique, and hand independence.

Previous experience playing congas is required (intermediate to advanced level).
Instruments will be provided for all courses.
