Pagode ist ein populärer Samba-Stil mit starken Wurzeln in Rio de Janeiro und São Paulo. Der Workshop konzentriert sich ausschließlich auf die typischen Percussion-Instrumente des Pagode: Rebolo, Tan Tan, Repique de Mão, Tamborim, Reco Reco/Ganzá und Pandeiro. Obwohl der Kurs ausschließlich auf Percussion fokussiert ist,
sind die erlernten Fähigkeiten ideal, um später in Pagode-Runden (Rodas) mit Begleitung von Cavaquinho und Gesang mitzuspielen – oder auch das eigene Repertoire zu ergänzen, wenn man selbst gerne singt und spielt.
Ein Muss für alle Sambistas, die ihr rhythmisches Vokabular erweitern und eine neue Facette des brasilianischen Samba entdecken möchten.

(Brasil-) Perkussion Vorkenntnisse (Mittelstufe) werden vorausgesetzt.

Pagode is a popular samba style with strong roots in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. The workshop focuses exclusively on the typical percussion instruments of Pagode: rebolo, tan tan, repique de mão, tamborim, reco reco/ganzá, and pandeiro. Although the course focuses exclusively on percussion, the skills learned are ideal for later
participating in pagode rounds (rodas) accompanied by cavaquinho and vocals – or for expanding your own repertoire if you enjoy singing and playing.
A must for all sambistas who want to expand their rhythmic vocabulary and discover a new facet of Brazilian samba.

Previous (intermediate) (Brazilian) percussion knowledge is required.
