Intensivworkshop

Vier Tage lang nichts als Conga! Auf einer, zwei oder drei Congas, im Duo, Trio oder Solo werden afrobrasilianische und afrokubanische Rhythmen unterrichtet. Neben Grooves und Solospiel stehen Technik und Klangqualität im Vordergrund (Slaps, Open Tones, Mu  es, Floatinghand und Unabhängigkeit). Moderne Techniken werden einstudiert und Noten ausgehändigt.
Vorkenntnisse im Conga-Spiel (Mittelstufe bis Fortgeschrittene) sind erforderlich.

In-Depth Workshop

Four days of conga rhythms and technique. Afro-Brazilian and Afro-Cuban styles on one, two, or three congas – played solo or in duo or trio settings. Focus on tone quality and precision: slaps, open tones, mu  es, fl oating hand, independence, and coordination. Modern techniques covered, scores provided.
Prior experience required (intermediate to advanced).
